Mortgage Rates Keep Dancing With ‘Record’
March 8, 2012 By The Wall Street Journal
Mortgage rates in the U.S. declined over the past week as rates continued to hold near record lows,
according to Freddie Mac’s weekly survey of mortgage rates. For the week ended Thursday, the 30-year
fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.88%, compared with 3.9% the previous week and 4.88% a year ago.
Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 3.13%, compared with 3.17% a week earlier and 4.15% a
year ago. This shorter-term mortgage is a popular option for refinancing, and the latest rate marks
a new record low in the survey, which has tracked the 15-year fixed since 1991.

Saturday, March 17- Put on your sassy shoes, disco boots or mudboots and dance the night away while helping
our Upper Valley community! There will be a fabulous band, great food and a brilliant silent auction display
at this year's Mud Ball.
Each year a local philanthropic committee comes together to organize and host the Mud Ball which benefits the
Upper Valley Haven. All are welcome and 100% of proceeds are donated to the Haven. Thanks to these dollars
many children staying at the Haven, or children associated with the shelter, were able to take advantage of
the many wonderful summer options offered around the Upper Valley.
|
Tickets for the Mud Ball are $75 per person in advance or $85 at the door. For more information about Mud
Ball 2012 please call our own Amy Redpath at 603.643.9405 or e-mail amy@cbredpath.com
