|
|
July 13-14 2011 in Hanover & Manchester*, NH
Thirty-one years ago, four Cancer Center nurses rode 100 miles through New Hampshire's White Mountains. They rode
to honor their patient, Audrey Prouty and raised $4,000 for research at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer
Center. For this year's 31st Annual Prouty, 5,000 participants and 1,000 volunteers will come together
in the Connecticut River Valley to pay tribute to the many, many people, like Audrey, who've battled cancer; and
to continue the important work of bringing an end to cancer. Join your neighbors, friends and the community- come PROUTY!
All money raised supports cancer research and patient services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
Funds raised by The Prouty support Cancer Center researchers and clinicians who are working on innovative ways to
prevent, diagnose, treat and hopefully, one day, cure cancer. Research conducted at Norris Cotton Cancer Center
affects patient treatments around the world.
Please join us in supporting this critically important cause.

Mortgage Rates Keep Dancing With Record
March 8, 2012 By The Wall Street Journal
Mortgage rates in the U.S. declined over the past week as rates continued to hold near record lows,
according to Freddie Macs weekly survey of mortgage rates. For the week ended Thursday, the 30-year
fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.88%, compared with 3.9% the previous week and 4.88% a year ago.
Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 3.13%, compared with 3.17% a week earlier and 4.15% a
year ago. This shorter-term mortgage is a popular option for refinancing, and the latest rate marks
a new record low in the survey, which has tracked the 15-year fixed since 1991.
